Control your anxieties through therapy

Anxiety is an overwhelming amount of stress. Anxiety leaves the sufferer feeling unable to cope and often desperately lost. However insurmountable it can feel it is possible to work through and find your sense of self and effectiveness once more. Anxiety makes you feel hopeless, with relentlessly recurring thoughts about impending doom and imminent catastrophe. These thoughts are not valid or predictive, they are symptoms of stress. As such, we can challenge them, and facilitate you re-gaining control over your anxiety.The main way I work with anxiety is using cognitive behavioural therapy. I have written a self help book aimed at the self treatment of this stress disorder, ' Anxiety Attacks' (published by Hay House 2009). .
